Arnold Wilson, better known as “DJ Encore”, is definitely one of the most diverse and professional DJ’s in the state of North Carolina. Born and raised in Louisville, KY, DJ Encore had a passion for music at an early age and was exposed to a wide variety of musical genres. At the age of 10, he began playing the drums in elementary school and continued to play throughout college. He has participated in various drumlines and had the honor of playing for former President Bill Clinton. His exposure and participation in various orchestras and bands lead him to create a variety of mixtapes as a way to express his love of music and to help pay for tuition and books at his alma-mater Tennessee State University. After countless requests for more mixtapes, DJ Encore began his career as a DJ at dorm room parties which lead to guest spots and requests at various events in Nashville, TN.

DJ Encore proudly received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Tennessee State University and works as an engineer full time. His professional career has provided an opportunity to expand his love of music and entertaining by purchasing state of the art audio and video equipment to cater to any size event. He specializes in weddings, corporate events, formal balls, Sweet 16’s and school and house parties. His style can be described as eclectic, covering styles (but not limited to) R&B, Funk, Reggae, House, Techno, Electro, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock and Indie Rock. He is able to connect with any audience and brings a touch of class to any event.

DJ Encore believes in knowing his target audience and providing 100% satisfaction to the client. This begins with a questionnaire provided to learn the mood and feelings of the event. He has over 50,000 songs in his database and can create a song list or play a list given by the client. His passion for music, 20 years of experience as a musician and attention to detail make him one of the hottest and requested DJ’s in the area.
